Thanks to your continued support, we are able to strengthen and further develop the work of our children’s centers in Odesa and Ovidiopol.
Every day, the centers host activities and programs that help children receive quality support, develop essential skills, and feel confident and safe in a friendly environment.
Educational Programs
Educational activities remain one of the key and most in-demand components of our centers. We consistently provide:
school-readiness classes for children;
creative and developmental workshops;
activities focused on fine motor skills, logic, and creative thinking;
language classes and additional educational support.
These programs help children improve their academic performance, build independence and confidence, and develop communication and teamwork skills. Parents note that regular participation increases motivation and fosters a stable interest in learning.
Psychological Support for Children
Psychological support remains highly sought after, especially among families of internally displaced persons who continue adapting to new circumstances.
Our psychologists conduct between 10 and 16 individual consultations for children each month.
This support helps children cope with stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges related to relocation and changes in their social environment. Parents report noticeable improvements: children become calmer, more confident in communication, and better integrated into their new community.
We also offer group sessions aimed at developing emotional resilience, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Data for the Previous Three Months (September–November)
Odesa:
on average, 52 classes were held each month;
the activities were attended around 416 times per month;
over the three-month period, a total of 156 classes were conducted, with 1,248 total visits;
the number of unique participants during this period was 35 children.
Ovidiopol:
on average, 11 classes were held each month;
the activities were attended around 110 times per month;
over the three months, a total of 33 classes were conducted, with 330 total visits;
the number of unique participants during this period was 20 children.
We continue to observe a steady interest in our programs. Parents emphasize that the activities help children not only gain new knowledge and skills but also recover emotionally, build friendships, and feel part of a safe and supportive community.
Excursions and Special Events
We regularly organize trips to museums, the biopark, and other cultural and educational locations. These outings help broaden children’s horizons, strengthen their social experience, and give them positive and memorable impressions.
Creativity and Self-Expression
One of the most notable recent events was a children's performance inspired by the animated film Zootopia. The children actively participated in preparing the play: choosing roles, creating costumes, and rehearsing. The final performance became an important event for the participants and their families, demonstrating how creative activities support children in building confidence and teamwork skills.
Thank you for continuing to support our work.
Your contribution enables children to learn, grow, build friendships, recover emotionally, and feel safe. We will continue sharing updates and achievements from our centers.
