We are happy to share that, with your support, our team recently organized an exposure visit to the Dungarpur municipal waste facility as part of our efforts to build safer and more sanitary waste management systems.
During the visit, the team saw how regular door-to-door waste collection keeps city roads clean and how waste can be transformed into something useful, such as compost and biogas. Last year, compost produced at the facility was sold to local farmers, turning waste into a resource that supports livelihoods and the environment.
The visit also helped us reflect on what truly matters - careful monitoring, cleaner waste handling, and dignity and basic facilities for sanitation workers. Seeing both strengths and challenges gave us clear direction on how to build systems that are not only efficient but also humane.
These learnings will directly shape our work ahead, especially around household waste segregation, timely collection, recycling, and respect for sanitation workers.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Because of your support, this learning was possible.
A contribution of just $100 helps ensures safe waste collection, transport, and disposal for one month, protecting health, and the environment. Together, we are building cleaner and healthier communities.
