Dear Partners,
Real change begins when communities take ownership of their future. Across Mararaba, local residents are preparing to become champions of public health through our World NTD Day community cleanup campaign. More than 100 volunteers are expected to participate in cleaning streets, clearing drains, and promoting hygiene awareness.
Volunteer-driven action is one of the most sustainable approaches to disease prevention. By empowering local people to improve their environment, we create long-term solutions that extend beyond a single cleanup event. Volunteers become advocates for sanitation, health education, and community responsibility.
However, volunteers need tools and resources to succeed. Donations help provide gloves, waste bags, wheelbarrows, educational materials, and refreshments for participants. These resources ensure volunteers can safely and effectively improve their communities.
Your generosity empowers ordinary people to become extraordinary agents of change. Together, we can reduce neglected tropical diseases, improve environmental health, and build stronger, healthier communities. Thank you for helping local volunteers transform lives through action.
