Friends,
“Hope is reborn in our village!” With access to a new solar-powered water pumping system, women in the village of Walo no longer need to draw water by hand from a deep well. Ndeye, a young mother, “welcomes the good work that CREATE! is doing in Walo” and now foresees a prosperous future for her community.
Thanks to your generous contributions and foundation support, CREATE! recently rehabilitated the community well in Walo, adding a solar-powered water pump and gravity-fed irrigation system in the adjacent cooperative garden site. With access to clean, abundant water, cooperative members in Walo are now able to grow vegetables during the height of Senegal’s dry season.
Your help is still needed! The neighboring communities of Gagnick Mack and Darou Diadji also need a solar-powered pumping installation so that they can gain access to clean, abundant water, new agricultural skills, and economic livelihoods. With your generous donation, we can ensure that these families receive access to the tools they need to improve their lives.
CREATE!’s beneficiaries truly appreciate your donation to help them on their way to self-sufficiency! So what’s next? We would love to have you get more involved with CREATE! Send an email to kaitlyn@createaction.org and I will let you know all the different ways that you can help out! Be sure to stay updated with what’s going on with CREATE! by signing up for our email list, becoming our friend on Facebook, following us on Twitter, and checking out our blog!
Best wishes,
