Hello dear donors, In 2025, Rendu Ocean's coastal cleanup activities enter the 18th year.
On March 22nd, the public beach cleanup was held again along the riverside, marking the first beach cleanup event of the spring season in 2025. Despite the still chilly weather, many children participated. This year, Nanhui Beach has also reopened to the public, and in April, several of our beach cleanups will be held there. In September, we also led partners from Mitsui O.S.K. Lines to clean up the beach on Hengsha Island. In 2025, we collected a total of 1,070 kilograms of marine litter and cleaned up 18.5 kilometers of beach.

Hello dear donors, In the third quarter, we continued to do the coastal cleanup activities at multiple beaches in Shanghai. And in September, we brought 42 volunteers to Hengsha Island for the first time, where we launched a new operation at the mouth of the Yangtze River and the easternmost point of the river.
We were still providing children with opportunities for environmental protection during the summer vacation. Shanghai's summer is very hot and the beach is very sunny, but the children still persist until the end. They not only took action, but also gained a lot of knowledge and inspiration on marine animal diversity, environmental protection, and plastic reduction actions in the process . I hope these studies can stimulate more thinking and action for them.
In the third quarter, we organized 3 beach cleaning activities in Shanghai, with a total of 95 volunteers, picking up a total of 234.5kg of marine trash.

Dear donors, I hope everything is going well.
Rendu Ocean's coastal cleanup activities are entering the second quarter, we are delighted to know that after 3 years of construction, Nanhui Beach has reopened to the public. We went to Nanhui Beach for 4 consecutive beach cleaning activities this quarter.
In the second quarter, we organized 11 coastal cleaning activities in Shanghai ,with a total of 306 volunteers participating and picking up a total of 581.08kg of marine trash.
In each coastal cleaning activity, when volunteers are on their way to the destination, we will popularize some knowledge about the ocean, marine garbage and waste reduction, and interact with the volunteers in the form of questions and answers. We hope that by combining science popularization and coastal cleaning practice, we can make people realize how harmful marine garbage is to the ocean, nature and human beings, so that they can reduce garbage in their daily life and thus protect the environment.
That's the activities for the 2rd quarter, Due to the high temperatures in Shanghai during summer, our activity frequency decreased in July. In September, World Cleanup Day is approaching, and we look forward to volunteers coming to the beach again to participate in coastal cleaning activities.
