The development of ICT skills and the use of robotics by young people in rural areas in 2 municipalities of Antioquia, promotes self-care in times of pandemic, in the last 3 months we accompanied 23 young people from the municipality of Burticá Antioquia and 27 young people from the municipality of El Retiro, Antioquia with a Bootcamp on social innovation, the objective of the Bootcamp is that they develop skills to identify problematic, aspects and conditions of their environment that can be solved or improved through the development of prototypes that incorporate Arduino and circuits
The exercises promoted teamwork around technological projects, involving code and basic skills in robotics, involving good practices in each of the developments, simulating and testing different conditions. A total of 13 prototypes were built at the end of the training of 65 hours; 5 prototypes made by the boys of El Retiro, Antioquia and 8 prototypes by the youth people of Buriticá, Antioquia.
