Challenge

Youth Ugandans live under some of the world's most challenging environment with discriminatory laws presided by legislators. In other words belonging to sexual minorities is literally a crime punishable by life imprisonment and our lives are at risk of developing suicidal thoughts. This project will affect more than 1000 youth people who reside in western parts of Uganda.

Solution

MRF will train 20 activists who will advocate and lobby for equal human rights and health care service provision for rural youth community. Activist will acquire sustainable skills to further engage with legislators on laws for equality.

Long-Term Impact

The project will impact 1000 rural youth allowing them to have accesses to health care services provision and equal human rights which will restore lost lives and create well - being.
