So many needs....
Sometimes we find ourselves overwhelmed with the needs in the communities we have choosen to work with. Where do you start and what do needs will you need?
We have chosen to give cash support to the most vulnerable people in these communities. Why? Because we believe that giving cash to the people will keep the dignity of the people we work with. We are not to decide what thewir needs are and it is better to give people money in hand so they can make descisions themselves instead of us deciding for them.
The people are very grateful for our involvement, we offer counseling services to the ones who want it, and we encourage people to be wise with the money they receive. We do the follow up and are encouraged by the wisdom that people have in how they spent the cash. Somwe repair their house, some buy household items and some buy food. Some buy a goad or chickens so they can generate income and our investment will multiply.
We thank you for your faithfulnes in assisting us in this endevour! On your behalf we can make a big change in the lives of the people who have lost everything. To see hope restored is our biggest reward.
