Little baby Abel was only 40 days old when his mother passed away from cancer. The family was overwhelmed with grief and at the sametime they worried about the well-being of this newborn little baby. They went to the shop to buy a tin of baby formula for the little fellow and they were shocked by the price! One tin they could manage but a tin evey week would be much more than they could afford. The family talked together and Abel's aunt decided that she would go and knock the doors of organizations and government offices. When she went to the local health center to plead her case, the health workers referred her to Abraham's Oasis and we were able to supply everything needed to help Abel thrive. We do regular follow-up visits and he is doing very well. The family loves him and is working together to care for this boy.
Thank you for yur generous assistance so we can keep babies like Abel, in their family and in their community.
