This project provides comprehensive care in the area of education, nutrition and health to 165 out-of-school children and adolescents in two alternative schools located in the Petare neighborhood, in the midst of a pandemic that has worsened their socioeconomic situation.
In Venezuela, during the pandemic, about 1 million children dropped out of school, and a million more are at risk of taking the same path. The community of Petare is facing in the middle of a pandemic, the challenge of reintegrating children and adolescents of school age to the regular school system with the necessary skills.
With this project, we reinforce the comprehensive care and training in the areas of education, nutrition, and health, of 165 out-of-school children and their family group in the Petare neighborhood, offering them personalized care in their diet, comprehensive development of themselves physically, emotionally and intellectually, creating programs for the development of these skills.
What we seek with our actions is for these children and adolescents to obtain skills and abilities that allow them to achieve a complete training, inserting themselves into the formal educational system, helping to reduce the rate of out-of-school children in Venezuela.
