Nos alegra compartir con ustedes que en octubre retomamos oficialmente las actividades académicas en nuestras Escuelas Alternativas de OSCASI, dando inicio a un nuevo año escolar lleno de esperanzas, aprendizajes y compromisos renovados.
Preparativos durante el receso escolar
Aunque los estudiantes estaban de vacaciones, en OSCASI no nos detuvimos. Tanto los equipos pedagógicos como el personal administrativo trabajaron intensamente para preparar cada detalle de este nuevo ciclo escolar. Este año, más que seguir un cronograma tradicional, decidimos adaptar toda nuestra planificación académica al nuevo Plan Estratégico Institucional de OSCASI, asegurando que cada acción responda a nuestra misión de brindar una educación integral, inclusiva y transformadora para niños y jóvenes no escolarizados.
Una cocina que alimenta sueños
Con gran alegría, inauguramos la nueva cocina de la Escuela Alternativa Nuestra Señora del Carmen, un hito fundamental para fortalecer nuestro Programa de Nutrición. Gracias a este espacio renovado, continuamos garantizando alimentación diaria a nuestros alumnos y maestros, entendiendo que aprender con el estómago vacío no es posible.
El voluntariado sigue creciendo
A mediados de octubre reiniciamos también nuestras actividades de voluntariado, que siguen creciendo con fuerza gracias al compromiso de las madres del Colegio San Ignacio. Este movimiento solidario se ha convertido en un pilar fundamental para el acompañamiento académico, logístico y emocional de nuestros estudiantes.
Gracias a su apoyo, OSCASI sigue abriendo oportunidades donde antes había barreras. Seguimos trabajando con convicción para que más niños y jóvenes encuentren en nuestras escuelas no solo un lugar para aprender, sino para creer en sí mismos y construir un futuro mejor.

We are pleased to share that in October we officially resumed academic activities in OSCASI’s Alternative Schools, marking the beginning of a new school year filled with hope, learning, and renewed commitment.
Preparations During the School Break
Although students were on vacation, OSCASI did not stop. Both our teaching teams and administrative staff worked diligently to prepare every detail for this new school cycle. This year, rather than following a traditional academic calendar, we chose to adapt our entire planning process to OSCASI’s new Institutional Strategic Plan, ensuring that every action aligns with our mission to provide an integral, inclusive, and transformative education for out-of-school children and youth.
A Kitchen That Nourishes Dreams
With great joy, we inaugurated the new kitchen at the Nuestra Señora del Carmen Alternative School, a key milestone for strengthening our Nutrition Program. Thanks to this renewed space, we continue guaranteeing daily meals for our students and teachers—because learning on an empty stomach is simply not possible.
Volunteer Engagement Keeps Growing
In mid-October, we also relaunched our volunteer activities, which continue to grow thanks to the commitment of the mothers from Colegio San Ignacio. This solidarity network has become essential in providing academic, logistical, and emotional support to our students.
Thanks to your support, OSCASI continues to open doors where there were once barriers. We remain steadfast in our mission to ensure that more children and youth find in our schools not only a place to learn, but also a place to believe in themselves and build a better future.
