This project supports the shipment and distribution of humanitarian aid containers to thousands of women and children living through humanitarian crises.
In Syria today, 98 percent of the population lives on a mere $1.90 USD per day. Families - especially those with female breadwinners - struggle to get by. Similarly, vulnerable women and children in Lebanon, Turkey and Ukraine find themselves with limited incomes and minimal outlook. This project works to alleviate the stresses of the world's most vulnerable by shipping upcycled humanitarian aid to empower women and children in crises.
NuDay's Containers of Love provide women and children with much-needed humanitarian aid through upcycled items. This includes household items to furnish homes, non-perishable food for nutrition, school supplies for education, livelihood kits for income, and winter items for harsh winters. Medical containers also support hospitals through equipment and supplies. Containers help prevent waste by redirecting items from the landfill to those who benefit through distributions.
NuDay reaches tens of thousands women and children annually through empowered container aid, which ensures families can once again live dignified lives.
