Dear Friends and donors, Namaste!
Greetings from the Bharath Abhyudaya Seva Samithi (BASS) India
Hope you and all your loved ones are doing fine and stay blessed.
We are very much grateful to you for your kind generous donations to support our Covid Emergency Relief program in India. During this quarter we received only US400 to continue our project activities.
Still Covid infection impact is still influencing the lives of vulnerable slums families, children and neglected elderly in India. Our targeted families are facing severe viral fevers and high number of fever infections in slums and rural villages in Guntur district. Children and elderly are the most vulnerable situation in slums and remote rural areas, as many poor families are not able to have sufficient income to feed their family members.
We are continuously providing Nutrition food ration kits to 50 HIV Positive orphan and semi orphan children, who are living in miserable situations, they did not get enough meals daily, some children having mid day meals in schools and less food at their homes from their relatives or their grandparents.
And also we are continuously working to prevent Covid infections by educating the children, families and elderly people with Covid appropriate behavior. And also we are educating on hygiene, protecting from mosquitoes at the premises of their homes and surrounding areas in the slums.
We are continuously operating a daily meal program for 100 neglected elderly people in three locations in Guntur district, Distributing essential food ration kits to 50 slum children families and 50 HIV Impacted Children. And also providing daily breakfast and evening meals to 40 waste picker family’s children in Guntur city.
Covid impact is not concluded yet, many poor people suffer a lot with post Covid health problems. And they are not able to identify their health conditions and no timely medical treatments and even loss of their lives.
Therefore please kindly donate the project again to continue our project activities to the slums and elderly people as well as vulnerable children in Guntur.
Thank you for your timely care, love and compassion to the most affected needy in Guntur.
We are looking forward to getting your kind continued help to the most affected children and elderly.
Thank you
