Dear Donors and Friends,
Namaste!
Thank you so much for your continued support of this project. Your kind and generous donations have been instrumental in providing nutrition to children in the slums.
We humbly request your assistance in providing daily nutritious meals to 100 underprivileged children in Guntur.
We have recently started a new seasonal hostel (non-residential) for in migrant families' children at Mirchi Yard, Guntur, with permission from Samagra Shiksha, Guntur Government of Andhra Pradesh. This initiative focuses on children from other states, especially Bihar and Odisha. Guntur is one of the major chili yard where thousands of migrant workers are engaged in grading chilies. We have identified almost 1,500 children under the age of 10 living outside without care and protection as their mother’s work in chili grading.
Hence, we started a special seasonal hostel for these children to care for and protect them during the daytime, providing breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks while their mothers work. We also offer basic education with expert teachers in their mother tongue languages.
As usual, our after-school learning centers provide nutritious snacks to 70 children in the evenings and mid-day meals to 120 children in our slum school.
Our dedicated team for this special project includes one coordinator, two cooks, and two helpers, all working diligently to ensure its effective organization.
A donation of at least $500 is sufficient to provide daily meals to 70 children for a month in the Guntur slum. This project received $785 from your generous donations over the past four months up to January 2025.
We are delighted to announce that during the Indian Republic Day celebrations on January 26th, 2025, the project leader of BASS Organization received the Best Service Appreciation Award from the District Collector of Palnadu, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
We humbly request you to consider making a new donation or subscribing to a small monthly donation for this project. Additionally, please share the project with your social media networks.
Thank you once again for your continued trust and support.
with Gratitude
