Guntur Slum Child care and education School centre : A Beacon of Hope

This academic year, our school in the Chandra Rajeswararao Nagar slum is thriving, providing a free education to over 120 children from families who are daily wage earners. These children often arrive at school without breakfast, and for many, the nutritious midday meal we provide is their most substantial meal of the day.

Thanks to your contributions, we've successfully provided daily meals to over 100 children every school day. We've also successfully promoted 17 students to 8th grade, who have now been admitted to government schools. We've also welcomed about 30 new students!

Mirchi Yard Day Care Centers: A Safe Haven for Children

At the Mirchi Yard in Guntur, thousands of migrant workers from states like Bihar and Odisha work long hours grading chilies. Their children, many under the age of 10, are left without proper care. Since July, we have been successfully operating two non-residential day care centers to provide a safe and nurturing environment for 120 of these children.

At these centers, we not only offer a safe space but also provide daily meals and education. A dedicated team of staff ensures the well-being of every child. Your support is crucial in helping us care for these vulnerable children and give them a chance to learn and thrive.
