Dear project supporters,
As we all know, regular handwashing is essential to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
Many communities, however, do not have the needed resources to enable this.
With this in mind and thanks to your support, we provided 3 veronica buckets and liquid soap to the Girl Pikin for Betteh Girl’s Club at Ghana compound, Beach Road, Freetown. The compound houses over 500 people. These buckets are in great demand and will be very useful.
The distribution was done in partnership with the Centre for Transformational Leadership and Development, the organization that runs the club.
During the distribution, the beneficiaries were reminded to adhere to the safety and handwashing measures recommended by the Ministry of Health and Sanitation.
The beneficiaries were very grateful to receive the supplies and expressed their appreciation.
Thank you for helping to meet this important practical need. Together we are helping to stop the spread of COVID-19 / coronavirus.
We warmly invite you to start a monthly recurring donation here. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way. This is the best way to ensure an ongoing impact.
Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this project.
With deep appreciation
Sylvester and the Develop Africa Team
