We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity these past two years since COVID-19 became a worldwide pandemic.
Your support has helped provide essential support to families in need in Sierra Leone, including masks, soap, and food support.
Joy's family recently received a bag of rice, one gallon of cooking oil, a bag of onions, mayonnaise, and other food items. Joy expressed her thanks in this video saying:
Hi, my name is Joy. I am one of the beneficiaries of Develop Africa Sierra Leone. I want to thank all those that supported me. I am very, very grateful for these items. They will help me a lot. My mother is very ill and is presently in the hospital, so this food will really help me. Thank you very much.
The focus of this project -COVID-19 support - falls under the larger umbrella of health, well-being, and education. Since we already have another project focused on supporting and empowering our beneficiaries. after a review, we have decided to combine the projects and streamline our efforts. This will help us to be more efficient. With this in mind, we will be phasing out this project shortly.
Are we going to continue providing COVID-19 support?
Yes, there is an ongoing need for COVID-19 related support. We will enthusiastically continue to do so. You can provide COVID-19 support through our Empowering and Educating Future Leaders project. We warmly welcome your ongoing support.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to email us at globalgiving@developafrica.org
With great appreciation,
Amy & the Develop Africa Team
