Bhagibai lives in a small village in rural Rajasthan, where farming is the only source of livelihood. Like many women farmers, she once depended on chemical farming. Rising input costs and low returns made it difficult for her family to make ends meet.
Everything began to change when Bhagibai received training and support from Seva Mandir. She learned natural farming methods and nursery preparation, opening new possibilities for her farm and her future.
Using her new skills, she set up a vegetable nursery and grew tomatoes during the Kharif season. The results were lifechanging. She sold nearly 7,000 saplings and 9 quintals of tomatoes, earning close to 49,000—a significant income for her household.
Today, Bhagibai and her family have completely shifted to natural farming, reducing costs, protecting their land, and building a sustainable livelihood. More importantly, she now farms with confidence, dignity, and hope.
Your support makes stories like Bhagibai’s possible. Thank you for being contributing towards improving life of Bhagibai and many women like her.
