The emergent of COVID 19 pandemic has definitely impacted the way we run our lives. As a result, counteract measures are required as a remedy to cope with effects of the virus. The virus could affect everyone; however, evidence suggests that older forks and people with underlying conditions are at greater risk. And to protect those people at risk, funding is required to put measures in place so that the spread of this novel pandemic should promptly be minimized in our community.
Several challenges of COVID 19 pandemic appear to be frightening the general public particularly older forks (that is people over 60 years old), and those with underlying medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease and cancer. Given that fact, a highly supportive system is needed in place to offset the current situation.
Having the required funding, the resources for fighting the pandemic will be pooled together so that frontline workers are trained efficiently and effectively to combat the disease which could result in better protection for vulnerable people in our society. As one of the local organizations on the ground, we will work with international organizations and local partners to effectively allocate funds based on the needs of our vulnerable individuals.
Nile Care Advocacy for Peace and Development will definitely provide training and awareness to both our staff and clients in providing safe measures to stop the spread of the pandemic. The required funds will be allocated appropriately because the organization is well connected to the grassroots with the greatest expertise in providing services to the vulnerable community members in our society at large.
