Challenge

Many low-income families live in densely populated areas, with no space to plant, without education, without work and without money. For them it is increasingly difficult to get their food. By teaching them to grow in small spaces, they can generate their own food and perhaps create a system to earn an income. Learning also issues of environmental conservation through recycling.

Solution

*Experiential and educational experience to recover the link with nature, through home-grown urban farming. *Harvest foods grown by themselves, always fresh, without having to buy them. *Obtain organic and therapeutic products. *Give life to spaces. *Get additional income, having food, fish or plants to sell.

Long-Term Impact

This project teaches with a participate, experiential and reflective methodology with activities of sowing, recycling, conservation of the environment, and entrepreneurship opportunities . For every child or young person who learns to cultivate products in their own home, a complete family can benefit. Currently, sowing and harvesting courses are given to 200 children, young people and adults per month.
