Project Report | May 13, 2019
Other forms of education and self-sustainability

By Ana Palacio | Executive Director

Through the Ecological garden (orchard) in Corporacion Superarse and the Aquaponics project, many children and young people like Erika and Julie have had the opportunity to learn in a different way and have visualized other ways of producing food.

Erika and Julie attend educational workshops where they learn to grow and harvest vegetables, learn from the entire aquaponics system, plant, care for, and harvest the fish, all this not only serves them for consumption, but also is a way of entrepreneurship with the possibility of having income through small spaces in their own houses or terraces.

Aquaponics is a productive activity that has been talked about for a long time, however, now takes more boom, due to new technologies and advances in fish production systems, such as recirculation that are being used Currently, they are complemented with the production of hydroponic vegetables. Turning the system into a form of ecological sustainability, aligned with the SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES, raised worldwide.

We need your help so that more and more children, youth and adults can have access to the innovative education that can be found in the Ecological garden -  Corporacion Superarse. Support education with your donations.
