Project Report | Aug 5, 2019
Environmental education to save the planet

By ANA LUCIA PALACIO MONTOYA | Executive Director

The current problem regarding pollution and climate change has made the environment worry us all. Environmental Education is essential for children and achieve the objectives set worldwide

Sustainable Development, (present development that does not compromise the capabilities of the future to meet their needs), is the understanding that many countries assume to ensure a healthy future for our children and future generations. With this project we aim to join the fulfillment of the Global Sustainable Development Goals that seek to sanitize the environment.

It is essential to educate children on environmental issues explaining and ensuring that they are sensitized and take environmental awareness, ecological knowledge, attitudes and values towards the environment in order to achieve adequate and sustainable development.

Environmental Education is a process that lasts a lifetime and aims to impart environmental awareness, this education has to start as soon as possible because in this way, children will identify and solve environmental problems at an early age, and can continue with this in adulthood and will be able to make decisions, giving possible answers to the problem we have today.

  • Support this type of education and the environment, donating to make it possible.
