Reaching More Families with Essential Health Infor
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
One of the primary goals of our project is to ensure that vulnerable families have access to reliable, accurate, and timely health information. During this reporting period, our outreach teams continued visiting communities and households to provide education on Ebola prevention, personal hygiene, and healthy practices that can help protect families from infectious diseases.
Many of the families reached through our outreach activities live in areas where access to health education is limited. Through household visits and small community meetings, participants received practical guidance on maintaining hygiene, recognizing symptoms of illness, and seeking appropriate medical assistance when necessary. These interactions also provided an opportunity for families to ask questions and discuss concerns with trained volunteers.
The response from community members has been overwhelmingly positive. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the information shared and highlighted the importance of receiving guidance from trusted community representatives. Several participants reported that they have begun implementing healthier practices within their homes and are sharing the information with relatives and neighbors.

Promoting Preparedness Through Education
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
Prepared communities are better positioned to respond effectively to public health challenges. Throughout this reporting period, our project focused on promoting preparedness through education and community engagement activities designed to increase awareness and build practical knowledge.
Participants attended workshops and community discussions where they learned about disease prevention, hygiene practices, and the importance of taking proactive measures to protect themselves and their families. The educational sessions emphasized the value of preparedness and encouraged participants to become advocates for health within their communities.
Many attendees expressed appreciation for the opportunity to gain knowledge that can help them respond confidently to future health concerns. Community members also shared their commitment to passing this information on to others, helping extend the benefits of the project beyond direct participants.
Through education and awareness, we are helping communities develop the knowledge and confidence needed to face challenges more effectively. We sincerely thank our donors for their continued support and commitment to improving community health and resilience.

Empowering Women to Promote Family Health
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
Women play a central role in maintaining the health and well-being of their families and communities. Recognizing this important role, our project continued engaging women through educational activities focused on health awareness, hygiene promotion, and disease prevention.
During this reporting period, women participated in community meetings where they received practical information about maintaining healthy households and protecting family members from infectious diseases. The sessions also provided opportunities for participants to exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn from one another.
Many women reported feeling more confident in their ability to promote healthy practices within their homes and support community awareness efforts. Several participants have already begun sharing the knowledge they gained with neighbors and relatives, creating a positive ripple effect throughout the community.
Empowering women with knowledge and skills contributes significantly to building healthier families and stronger communities. We are deeply grateful to our donors for supporting programs that invest in women and strengthen community resilience during challenging times.
