Dear friends Namaste !
Greetings from BASS, India
We are very glad to inform you that after a long time our project received new donations in February, thank you so much for your generous donations for emergency flood relief in Andhra Pradesh.
We wish to share that currently there is no emergency situation in Andhra Pradesh, India during the last four months. But for the last two days we have had climate change and unexpected rains in Andhra Pradesh.
We are also operating an elderly care program at Cyclone Prone village in Guntur district. 50 Elderly people receive daily meals through this project.
Our emergency relief volunteer team is always ready to work in the disaster affected areas along with the local government to provide urgent relief efforts.
During this quarter we received US 2875 donations for this project.
Still 2022 floods affected families are not normalised in Andhra Pradesh due to poverty. Besides Covid impact, many families do not get enough income to support their family. .
Therefore we are planning to continue our relief program to distribute essential food ration kits, household supplies, balnkets to 100 flood victim families in Guntur district in April 2023. And also continue the daily meal program for 50 elderly meal programs.
We humbly request you to kindly support again to this project to provide urgent essential food and household supplies to flood affected families in Andhra Pradesh.
Thank you so much
With gratitude
