Reporting Period: November 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026
Namaste, Dear Donors and Supporters,
We are writing to share a heartfelt update on our mission to support families devastated by nature's fury. The past four months have been a journey of intense labor, deep empathy, and steady recovery.
While the weather in our working regions has stabilized over this last quarter—aside from a few unfortunate minor rains—the scars left by Cyclone Montha and the October floods remain deep. Across Guntur, Bapatla, and Vijayawada, the cyclone devastated local farms and washed away the humble household goods of thousands, particularly migrant workers and coastal families.
Our Impact: 300 Families Supported
I am proud to share that through the tireless dedication of our team and by mobilizing various internal resources, we successfully reached 300 families during this period.
Urgent Relief: We distributed essential Ration Kits and Blankets to families in the Guntur region.
Protection from the Cold: As temperatures dipped following the rains and throughout the winter season, these blankets provided a vital shield for children and the elderly.
Detailed Assessments: Our team didn't just drop off supplies; we sat with the most vulnerable families to assess their long-term losses in crops, clothing, and shelter to prioritize future aid.
While our spirits are high, our financial resources are stretched thin. During this entire four-month reporting period, we received $297 through this platform. While we are deeply grateful for every dollar, this amount is significantly lower than the actual cost of the relief provided to 300 families.
We have been able to keep going by using existing internal resources and alternative sources, but to sustain this momentum and be ready for the next emergency, we truly need your continued partnership.
The good news is that thanks to the coordination between local authorities and our teams, no lives were lost during the height of the crisis. Our team remains on high alert and is fully prepared to respond to any emergency situations that may arise in our coastal regions.
Thank you for being the compassion these communities rely on. Your support reminds these families that they are not forgotten as they strive to rebuild their lives from the mud and water.
With deep gratitude,
