Three years after we launched this campaign in response to the pandemic lockdown, the impact of this campaign has continued to grow. EFA girls are developing essential digital skills that are crucial for their personal growth and employment opportunities in the 21st century. They are more confident about their abilities and ambitious about their future aspirations.
Even after the pandemic, EFA girls continue to use the internet to research, revise their classes, take notes using smart devices and laptops, and even work in the technology field. This is especially helpful during exam time.
Asma, one of EFA's graduates, is a shining example of how digital skills can positively impact girls’ lives in the rural villages of Morocco. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, currently works as a software developer and artist, and inspires all the girls.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to all for empowering these girls with the digital resources to build their IT skills, confidently plan their future studies, and pursue their desired employment opportunities. Your support has truly made a difference in their lives and the future of education in Morocco.
Warm wishes,
The EFA Team, House Mothers and Girls
