Makaia offers ICT training to young people with disabilities (7-24 years old) with relevant tools and uses to improve their quality of life, as well as vocational trainings to guide them towards their integral development. Additionally the project includes the development and use of technological support devices, which are specifically designed to reduce the difficulties of people with physical and cognitive disabilities when they use digital tools.
Young people with disabilities will be able to develop their economic projects (microbusinesses and employability), their personal activities (knowlegde of their rights, proper use of leisure time) and their academic projects (access to information and knowledge, content development).
