Report: Update on Disaster Response Project
Darfur Women Network (DWN), along with our beneficiaries, volunteers, and staff, extends our deepest gratitude for the generosity of our donors. Your support continues to bring hope and essential services to communities affected by the crisis.
Despite the ongoing war and insecurity, we successfully reached families trapped in areas under Rapid Support Forces (RSF) control. These civilians are living under extremely difficult conditions and were unable to leave before the RSF takeover. Your support allowed us to provide assistance where it is needed most.
Through our partnership with Rainbow Training Center, we also strengthened long-term resilience by training 120 Sudanese from 16 states. The courses covered Agricultural Strategic Planning, Good Agricultural Practices, and Meat and Dairy Production. Participants also gained skills in networking for recovery and sustainable economic empowerment. Our next focus will be on forming cooperatives to help small businesses grow and survive after the war.
We remain committed to reaching vulnerable families—both inside and outside RSF-controlled areas—while continuing our capacity-building programs to help more people secure employment and start their own businesses.
Thank you for your continued support. Your generosity keeps hope alive.
