Dear Donors,
Thank you for supporting the Donate 2,500 Toys to Children in Hospitals project. We sincerely appreciate your generosity and concern for children facing difficult days and nights in hospitals.
For many children, a hospital stay can be frightening and lonely. Beyond the physical discomfort caused by illness or injury, many young patients spend long periods away from friends, school, and familiar surroundings. In hospitals with limited resources, there are often few activities available to help children relax, play, or distract themselves during treatment.
We are grateful for the donations received so far. However, the amount currently available is not sufficient to begin implementation of the project. Additional support is needed before toys can be purchased, packaged, transported, and distributed to participating hospitals and healthcare facilities.
This project aims to provide age-appropriate toys, books, puzzles, games, and comfort items to children receiving medical care. These simple gifts are intended to bring moments of happiness, reduce anxiety, and make the hospital environment a little less intimidating for young patients.
Healthcare workers frequently observe that emotional wellbeing plays an important role in a child's hospital experience. Opportunities for play and positive engagement can help children cope better with treatment, interact more comfortably with caregivers, and maintain a sense of normal childhood despite their circumstances.
While the project has not yet begun, we remain committed to reaching children who need encouragement during challenging periods of illness and recovery. As additional support becomes available, we look forward to sharing updates from participating hospitals and the children who will benefit from this initiative.
Thank you for helping bring comfort, hope, and smiles to children receiving medical care.
Warm regards,
