Our team in Romania are overjoyed with how the newly built shelter is providing warmth , food & safety.
This winter has been extremely cold but our cats don’t mind at all as the shelter is fully insulated & heated, keeping them nice and warm and, more importantly, happy cats.
The shelter has two sections – An isolation room equipped with stainless steel kennels for when we receive a cat that needs our help.
And a socialisation room where, once healed, the cats can all mingle with each other.
The outdoor area, which is securely closed, to ensure the cats are safe at all times, is accessible by all of our furry feline guests.
The shelter has heating which in temperatures of -20 is most certainly needed but in warmer weather, it has full ventilation.
The comfort & happiness of our cats is the highest priority and we are so grateful for the support of our donors in helping ROLDA to achieve the construction of the building.
The capacity of the shelter has a maximum of 40 cats. To keeping the shelter running, our annual budget is $50000 USD
