Thanks to your incredible generosity, this campaign has successfully reached its goal.
As part of the EBRD Community Initiative, Children of Heroes launched this campaign to raise €50,000 for psychological recovery camps and English language classes for children who have lost one or both parents due to the war in Ukraine. We are delighted to share that the fundraising goal has been reached, unlocking the EBRD's matching contribution.
This was truly a collective effort across multiple fundraising channels:
Total raised: approximately €54,000
The EBRD matching applied to the first €50,000 raised. While donations received after reaching that milestone were not matched, every contribution continues to directly support the same essential programs — psychological recovery camps and English education for children who have lost one or both parents because of the war.
We are deeply grateful to every donor who helped make this campaign a success. Your generosity is providing children not only with opportunities to learn and recover, but also with moments of hope, connection, and a chance to look toward the future with greater confidence.
Although this campaign has now come to an end, the needs of these children continue. Children of Heroes remains committed to helping children heal, learn, and build brighter futures.
If you would like to continue supporting these efforts, we invite you to support our ongoing GlobalGiving projects:

Thank you once again for standing with Ukraine's children. Your compassion and generosity continue to change lives.
