On September 24, 2019. Pakistan was hit by a massive earthquake of 5.8 magnitude , in which 49 people lost their lives and thousands got injured in Mirpur Azad Kashmir .The earthquake also damaged thousands of houses and left many people homeless. In this regard, AWARD Pakistan made an apppeal to GlobalGiving to provide relief to the affected people. The project received a micro grant of USD 300 by the GlobalGiving Disaster team in partnership with facebook,. The fund which was later added up to another drive which was to provide the warm clothes to the children . The project itself didnt get any donation at the GlobalGiving website. As the project was of a limited time period therefore it is to be deactivated.
