EDD Family

We at Empower Develop Dignify (EDD), in partnership with GlobalGiving, are delighted to share our latest progress with you. Your unwavering support and commitment make our journey possible, and we warmly invite you to continue standing with us as we work to transform lives.

At EDD, every contribution counts, regardless of size. Whether it’s financial support, time, or in-kind donations—each act of generosity is deeply appreciated. What matters most is the heart and willingness behind every gift.

Empowering the Future: Our Commitment

Our core mission remains clear: empowering children from underprivileged families by giving them a strong foundation for a brighter future. Many children and youth face life challenges that hinder their potential. At EDD, we choose to create opportunities and make a positive difference, despite the hardships.

Learning by Doing — A Journey of Growth

Our school continues to embrace the "Learning by Doing" approach, allowing students to engage in hands-on activities that make learning both meaningful and enjoyable. From solving math problems using real-life objects, to conducting science experiments and expressing creativity through art, students were actively involved in their learning.

This practical method fostered curiosity, boosted participation, and encouraged deeper understanding across all subjects.

As the academic year ended, students celebrated their achievements and the knowledge they gained through active engagement. They departed for their long holidays with pride and excitement. We look forward to welcoming them back, ready for another dynamic learning term.

Joyful Moments in Recreation

As the term came to a close, the school was filled with joyful and engaging recreational activities. From building imaginative sand towers to playing traditional games and participating in team challenges, the playground was alive with laughter and teamwork. Indoors, students expressed their artistic talents using crayons and colored pencils to create beautiful images of flowers, homes, and more.

These fun experiences played a vital role in promoting social interaction, emotional well-being, and creative growth. As our learners began their long holidays at the end of June, we celebrated the lasting memories and skills they had developed.

End-of-Term Parents Meeting: Reflection and Forward Planning

At the end of May, EDD School held a meaningful parents’ meeting to reflect on the school year and strengthen collaboration between families and staff. Parents received detailed student progress reports, celebrated achievements, and discussed areas needing improvement in an open, honest environment.

This meeting also served as a platform for planning ahead. Together, parents and educators discussed expectations and improvements for the 2025–2026 academic year. Their contributions will help shape a stronger future for our students. We sincerely thank all the parents who participated and continue to support their children’s education.

EDD Pre-School 3 Graduation

On June 26th, our EDD community came together to celebrate a major milestone—the graduation of our Pre-School 3 learners! With joy, pride, and confident steps, our young graduates marked the end of their early childhood education and the beginning of a new chapter as they prepare to enter Primary 1.

The event was filled with music, dance, and reflections that showed how much the children had grown—socially, emotionally, and academically. It was a proud day for parents, teachers, and the entire EDD team. We look forward to watching them grow even further in their next phase.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

A Parent’s Testimony — Jeanne

"I am truly surprised and proud of my children’s achievements. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to bring them to EDD, where they have learned English and become smart, confident students. I may not have much to give, but I pray for the school every day. I never thought it would be possible for my children to attend such a school that teaches at this level! I know EDD has its own partners, and I thank them deeply for making this possible."
