Hassan Says Thank You
By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

Hassan never imagined he would have the chance to return to school. Diagnosed with Perthes disease, which restricts a patient's ability to walk, the challenge seemed insurmountable. How could a resident of Babsqa camps, displaced from his home, trek the 5 km distance to his school every day?
Let me tell you how—your donations made it possible.
Residing in Babsqa camps, Hassan faced a harsh life even for the healthy, let alone someone needing assistance for every task. The thought of pursuing education felt like an unattainable dream, his aspirations seemingly drowned in the hardships of camp life. However, your generosity, coupled with the initiative by Masarat, rekindled his hope. Hassan returned to his ninth-grade studies, fueled by the aspiration to succeed and continue towards his dream of studying medicine. Your support transformed despair into determination, making education a reality for Hassan against all odds.

In our latest academic advising session, in collaboration with our educational and knowledge programs, we were honored to host over 328 of our dear students and their guardians, a gathering where your support helped weave a family united by shared dreams and aspirations. Notably, this session didn't include just traditional family structures but also those where orphans and children in unique guardianship situations find warmth and guidance.
It was a heartfelt embrace, connecting the souls and minds of everyone present. It offered a rare opportunity to engage profoundly with the guardians of our students, acknowledging their role not just as caregivers but as integral partners in the educational journey of these young minds.
We aimed to forge bonds of love and familiarity, beyond introductions, intertwining the lives of our students, their guardians, and the broader Masarat community.
Your continued support and invaluable contributions fuel this journey, reinforcing our commitment to these enriching encounters that deepen our bonds. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your support.

Shaping Minds and Opinions
By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader
As part of your ongoing commitment to developing our students' skills and enhancing their analytical abilities, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the Film Criticism Program as part of our student activities curriculum. Your belief in nurturing a conscious and creative generation is an invaluable asset beyond measure.
The program's launch was inspirational; the opening session witnessed extraordinary interaction and enthusiasm among the students. They delved into exploring the media's influence on public opinion and its pivotal role in shaping cultural concepts. Their interventions and analyses transcended the level of traditional academic exercises, evolving into a journey towards a deeper understanding and critique of the reality surrounding them.
Moreover, the students have gained new insights into using media as a tool to create tangible positive impacts. Their exploration of the concept of soft power has opened broad horizons for understanding the role of media in shaping thoughts and beliefs. Every news piece, every story, every media work represents an opportunity for learning and creating a renewed positive impact.
Your support makes our students' journey in the world of film criticism not just an educational endeavor but a stimulating life experience, empowering them to make a positive mark in their communities.
