How you turned the Page on Anxiety

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

In a world brimming with challenges, where each step might seem laden with the heaviness of anxiety, it is essential that I share with you the story of our student Tala, a story serves as a beacon of courage and transformation. This change would not have been possible without the generous support of our donors, who have opened the doors of hope for many souls in desperate need of support.

Tala, an outstanding student, lived under the shadow of pervasive anxiety. Every corner of her life was a source of worry and tension, significantly impacting her academic performance. However, a turning point came when she was embraced by the caring hands of the psychologist in Masarat initiative.

With accurate diagnosis and specialized care, her journey of change began. Our psychologist conducted a detailed case study for Tala, using the Taylor Anxiety Scale, and revealed that she suffered from moderate generalized anxiety. But this was just the beginning!

In just a month and a half, Tala experienced an astonishing transformation. Through six intensive counseling sessions, she developed numerous skills such as relaxation techniques, problem-solving, mindful decision-making, and anger management. Most importantly, she mastered the art of transforming her thoughts from negative to positive and bolstering her self-confidence.

Today, Tala's anxiety is nothing but a memory. We witnessed her transformation and its direct impact on her confidence. Thank you, for healing some of Tala's wounds, and many more like her.
