From Consumers to Creators

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

“What is marketing?”

A simple question opened a new door for students at Masarat.

At first, the answers were familiar: selling, promotion, convincing people to buy. But as the discussion grew deeper, students began to see marketing differently. It was not only about products or advertisements. It was about understanding people, shaping messages, building trust, and knowing how ideas move from attention to action.

Through the media club, students explored digital marketing as a skill that connects creativity with opportunity. They learned how digital marketing differs from traditional marketing, how strong messages are built, and how campaigns can influence the way people think, choose, and respond.

They also began to understand the journey behind every message: how someone becomes aware of an idea, grows interested, makes a decision, takes action, and may later become loyal to what they believe in or support.

For students affected by hardship, this kind of learning can open important doors. Digital skills do not always require a physical office or large resources. With the right knowledge, students can create, communicate, work remotely, support projects, and participate in a fast-changing world with more confidence.

This is more than a lesson in marketing. It is a shift in how students see themselves.

They are not only receivers of digital content. They can become creators, thinkers, and future professionals who use their skills to build opportunities for themselves and their communities.

Because of your generosity, students at Masarat can discover practical skills that expand their vision, strengthen their confidence, and help them move from watching the digital world to taking part in shaping it.

Thank you for helping students become creators of opportunity.
