We are delighted to present to you the impact report of your priceless generosity during the special 24 hours of Giving Tuesday. In this limited period, your contributions were more than just donations; they transformed into beacons of hope, inspiring positive change in the lives of Syrian students.
The journey of giving that you embarked on with us is only the beginning of a path towards empowerment and change. Each dollar you donated is a lifeline, enabling a student to sail through the sea of knowledge. As our students step forward towards their future, we see your donations manifest in their ambitions, turning into tangible realities.
In this report, you will find the impact of your contributions, which increased by 35% due to your participation in Giving Tuesday:
- Total donations received: $18,110
- Matching percentage from GlobalGiving: $6,377
- Total donations: $24,487
135 students will benefit for a full year, including 104 orphans, 16 students with special needs, and 15 students from displaced persons camps. These donations will be allocated to provide remote educational services for Masarat students in the 9th and 12th grades, including:
- School Education Pathway: Explaining the school curriculum approved in northwest Syria through remote learning applications, offering daily live and interactive sessions.
- Student Activities Pathway: Enabling students to acquire and develop skills, encouraging critical thinking, and talent discovery.
- Academic Advising Pathway: Assisting students in achieving their academic and professional goals and choosing their scientific specialization.
- Student Affairs Team: The link between the student and the initiative, safeguarding their rights, guiding beneficiaries from the start, and assisting with any technical, educational, community, or psychological issues during their educational journey.
