10 Sessions... The First Steps Toward Healing!

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

Just ten sessions were the beginning of restoring life to our student (M.E), freeing her from the depression that nearly stole her dreams. How so?

(M.E) is a young girl, 15 years old, who was drowning in the darkness of depression, burdened by a skin condition that exhausted her physically and mentally, and deprived of parental care. But today, after just 10 sessions, (M.E) has become a symbol of strength and resilience, astonishing everyone with her outstanding success in the ninth grade. How could so few sessions create such a profound transformation?

Cognitive-behavioral therapy and medical treatment were (M.E)’s lifeline. Session after session, her self-confidence was rebuilt, and hope was rekindled within her. She was no longer the broken girl she once was; she had become a new person, looking to the future with determination and confidence. Each session was a step toward her liberation from the chains of depression, and with it, her body and spirit slowly, but surely, began to heal.

This transformation did not come easily, but you, with your continued support, were the greatest catalyst for this change. Today, as she stands on the threshold of high school, she knows she is not alone. She knows there are hearts like yours that believe in her, support her, and give her the strength to move forward with confidence.

But that’s not all. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide treatment and care to dozens of students who were in desperate need of support.
You are the hope, you are the strength that gives them the opportunity for a better life.
