Every time I meet one of our orphaned students, I go in thinking I will teach them something new… but I always return with a lesson I never expected to learn.
A child who lost his father in a bombing, has been living in a tent for years, yet still shows up to class on time, smiles, raises his hand with questions, takes careful notes, and says to me with confidence: " I will become an engineer… so I can rebuild my home."
Do you know what I learned from him?
That hope isn’t just something we say, it’s a decision we make in our darkest hours. That losing your support system doesn’t mean losing your worth. And that a person, even when broken and small, can rise again, if someone holds their hand.
These orphans don’t just receive lessons from us, they teach us valuable lessons in resilience, willpower, and believing in second chances despite great loss.
Thanks to your donations, these children are receiving a real opportunity for education that includes:
- Regular school education
- Student activities that shape their character
- Academic guidance to help them make informed decisions
- Vocational training that prepares them for independence
- Psychological support that helps them rebuild inner peace
None of this would have been possible without you, without your choice to stand by them and give them what no one else could.
So, stay close, because the next powerful life lesson… may come from another small heart, one that teaches us more about life than any book ever could.
