It’s not easy for a child who has lost their parents to understand their place in this world, many of our orphaned students began their journey with us feeling lost, not just because of what they had lost, but because no one had ever asked them " What do you dream of becoming? "
That’s why, in Masarat, we do more than just teach school subjects, we teach our students that life without a goal is a life half-lived, we give them the tools to think, ask questions, search, and explore, until a dream is born, a dream bright enough to light their path.
We sit with our students in one-on-one sessions, helping them identify their goals, understand their strengths, and determine where they stand in relation to their dreams, we guide them through collecting information, conducting research, learning, and ultimately expressing and sharing their ideas with confidence.
A child who knows their goal, is a child who can chart their own course, and a child who can draw their own path, is a child who can change the world, not just their own life.
Thank you for walking this journey with us, thank you for giving orphans something more valuable than assistance, you give them a compass.
