Ibrahim.. and the Laws of Sine and Cosine

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

In a small corner of his modest home, the orphan Ibrahim sits surrounded by his books and his small whiteboard. Ibrahim does not possess a luxurious classroom, but he owns something far more precious: a brilliant mind and an unbreakable will.

Look at Ibrahim in the picture; he holds his pen steadily, drawing geometric triangles and the laws of "Sin & Cos" as if he were sketching his roadmap toward the future. Behind this simple scene lies a great story of resilience; Ibrahim defies orphanhood and financial hardship, transforming his small phone screen—which connects him to "Masarat"—into a window overlooking the world’s sciences.

What does "Masarat" provide to Ibrahim? We do not just give Ibrahim fleeting lessons; rather, we provide him with the "nurturing environment" that the walls of his tent or home lack:

  • The Digital Knowledge Bridge: We break Ibrahim’s geographical isolation and connect him with the best teachers so he can compete with his peers everywhere.

  • Psychological Empowerment: We plant in Ibrahim’s heart the certainty that "orphanhood" is the loss of a father, not the loss of a future, and that his intelligence is his greatest investment.

  • Flexible Tools: Through the distance learning system, "Masarat" allows Ibrahim to study according to his own circumstances, turning his small whiteboard into a laboratory for innovation.

Our Partners at GlobalGiving When you see Ibrahim solving his equations, know that your support is what lit up his phone screen and provided the teacher who guides him from behind that screen. You are not donating to a "cause"; you are investing in a "future engineer" or a "scientist of tomorrow."

Because of you, Ibrahim is no longer alone in facing the complexities of mathematics or the complexities of life. Thank you for giving Ibrahim the right to dream, and the tools that turn his dream into a tangible reality.
