How to Persevere Without Burnout or Exhaustion?

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

Within the Academic Advising track, our students attended a new session that goes beyond academic performance to focus on the psychological well-being of the learner. The session, titled "Sustainable Academic Motivation: How to Persevere Without Burnout or Exhaustion?", aimed to build a resilient mindset.

Session Highlights:

  • Sustainable Motivation: We explored the concept of long-term academic drive, helping students distinguish between "temporary enthusiasm"—which may fade with external circumstances—and "stable internal motivation," which serves as a constant fuel regardless of challenges.

  • Fighting Burnout: The session provided practical tools to help students continue their educational journey while maintaining their psychological balance. We focused on techniques to reduce academic burnout, ensuring that the pursuit of knowledge does not lead to mental or emotional exhaustion.

The Impact on Our Students: For students living in crisis zones, the risk of "giving up" due to exhaustion is high. This session equipped them with the ability to pace themselves, ensuring they can achieve their academic goals without sacrificing their mental health.

Our Partners at GlobalGiving Your support for the Academic Advising track allows us to protect our students’ passion from fading. We are not just teaching them "how to study," but "how to persist" and maintain their inner light amidst the darkness of displacement. Thank you for investing in the psychological resilience of our future leaders.
