During our recent field visit deep into the IDP camps, in one of the most affected and harshest areas, we met Khaled. It wasn’t just a meeting; it was a true encounter with the meaning of persistence. Despite the worn-out canvas of his modest tent, Khaled welcomed us with a warmth that defied the cramped space, and with an enthusiasm that reminded us why we are here and why our partnership with you is the only lifeline for these children.

Khaled, an orphaned child who has faced bitterness from loss and displacement that even mountains could not bear, amazed us with his extraordinary energy.
