A Weekly Journey of Guidance for Our Students

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

Thanks to your generous contributions, we are proud of the continuity of the Academic Advising program, which was launched years ago to serve as a weekly beacon illuminating the path for our orphaned and displaced students. Our commitment to the holistic growth of our students is embodied in these periodic meetings that offer more than just advice; they build solid bridges for students to cross from the confines of the camp to the vastness of universities.

Since the first session, the "Masarat" advising team has acted as a permanent guide. We discuss strategic topics with our students that enable them to excel, most notably:

  • "Your First Day at University": Breaking the fear barrier and understanding the fundamental difference between the school and university environments.

  • Discovering Learning Styles: Helping students understand their innate abilities (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) to ensure maximum comprehension with minimal effort.

  • Informed Decision-Making: Guiding students toward choosing the most suitable university major and setting smart alternatives that ensure educational continuity, regardless of the circumstances.

  • Academic Planning: Providing students with mechanisms for strategizing success in higher academic tracks.

What distinguishes this program is its interactive and weekly nature; it provides a safe space for students to raise their questions and share their fears with a select group of educational consultants. We do not just prepare them for exams; we build the "University Student Mindset"—confident and capable of adaptation.

Our Partners at GlobalGiving Your support is the engine that makes this weekly accompaniment possible. Because of you, our students now have a "mentor" walking with them step by step, transforming the dream of "University" from a distant wish into a clear action plan with meticulously drawn landmarks. Thank you for contributing to expanding the scope of our impact and empowering our students to achieve the academic and personal success they aspire to.
