What does support look like in real life? Sometimes, it looks like Bashar, a determined father who refused to let hardship define his family’s future.
Displaced from Aleppo, affected by the earthquake, and living through constant power cuts, Bashar faced challenge after challenge. But instead of giving up, he transformed his tent into both a workshop and a learning space, offering his children and community a powerful example of resilience, creativity, and hope.
As a skilled air-conditioning technician, Bashar used recycled electronic waste to create a home energy storage system. With limited resources but remarkable determination, he turned difficulty into innovation and uncertainty into possibility.
Stories like Bashar’s remind us that when people are given a supportive environment, their strength can flourish in extraordinary ways. Through Masarat’s student activities, learners find safe spaces to grow, create, and discover new paths forward.
Thank you for believing in this mission and for making these journeys possible. Because of your generosity, stories of struggle continue to become stories of hope and renewal.
