A Graduate Who Lights the Way

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

We are pleased to share with you a meaningful moment from Masarat’s academic guidance program.

In a recent discussion session, students had the chance to meet Fatima, one of Masarat’s former students, who is now studying medicine. The meeting was more than a conversation. It was a living example of what education, perseverance, and support can make possible.

Fatima shared her journey with new students and answered their questions with honesty and encouragement. She spoke about managing time, setting goals, staying committed, and continuing forward even when the path is difficult. For students who are still searching for their direction, her story offered something powerful: proof that their dreams can become real.

What made the session even more moving was the presence of Fatima’s mother.

At the end of the meeting, she joined the conversation and spoke to the students with warmth and strength. Her message was simple and deeply inspiring: hardship, poverty, and war do not have to end a dream. She spoke with pride about Fatima’s effort, her commitment to her studies, and her ability to balance responsibilities with ambition.

Her words touched the students deeply. In that moment, she was not only Fatima’s mother. She became a voice of encouragement for every student listening.

This is the kind of impact your support helps create.

Because of your generosity, students at Masarat do not only receive academic guidance. They meet role models, hear real stories of success, and begin to believe that their own path is possible too.

Thank you for helping build a community where students inspire one another, families become part of the journey, and dreams are given the support they need to grow.
