A Place Where Every Child Belongs

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

A child may have access to excellent lessons and educational resources, but they also need to feel that they have a place among others, that their voice is heard, and that their presence matters.

At Masarat, we believe a sense of belonging is an essential part of the learning experience, especially for orphaned children who have experienced loss and instability and may need additional support to build confidence and feel safe.

That is why we go beyond providing knowledge. We work to create a learning community where every student feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged to participate and express themselves.

Through interactive virtual classrooms, we encourage students to ask questions and participate without fear of making mistakes. Through student activities, we create opportunities for them to connect with peers, discover their talents, and build positive relationships. Psychosocial support also helps them understand their emotions and strengthen their confidence.

Belonging is not simply about being present in a classroom. It is about feeling that you have a place there and that your participation matters.

When students feel part of a community that cares about them and respects their abilities, learning can become a more encouraging experience, helping them participate, stay engaged, and discover their potential.

Thanks to your support, we can offer our orphaned students more than online lessons. We can provide a learning community that accompanies them, celebrates their progress, and gives them space to be themselves.

Thank you for helping children do more than continue their education. Your generosity also nurtures something deeply valuable: the feeling that they belong somewhere that believes in them, and that they are not alone on their journey toward the future.
