A Setback Is Not the End of the Journey

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

Not every student who stops learning has lost the desire to continue. Behind their struggles may be difficult living conditions, learning gaps that have grown over time, or emotional and social challenges that make returning to education more difficult.

At Masarat, we believe a setback is something students can overcome, not a judgment of their abilities or their future, especially for orphaned and displaced children who have faced circumstances beyond their control.

That is why we focus not only on making education available, but also on helping students overcome the barriers that prevent them from benefiting from it.

Through educational follow-up, psychosocial support, academic guidance, and supportive interactive spaces, we help students understand the challenges they face, rebuild confidence in their abilities, and take manageable steps toward learning according to their needs and circumstances.

One student may need help catching up on missed lessons, while another may need encouragement, support with time management, or simply someone who listens and understands the reasons behind their difficulties.

What connects these different situations is our belief that every student deserves an opportunity to continue, and that the path to success does not have to look the same for everyone.

Thanks to your support, we can stand beside our students when continuing becomes difficult and help them recognize that they can try again, no matter how small their next steps may be.

Thank you for helping us keep the doors of education open for students who have experienced setbacks, giving them opportunities to rebuild confidence and move toward their futures, one step at a time.
