We are excited to share the impact your support has had on Marama's life. Marama arrived at the Develop Africa Sierra Leone Computer Lab with no prior knowledge of computers. Today, she confidently navigates the digital landscape, proficient in tasks such as typing and designing invitation cards. Marama emphasizes the encouraging environment provided by the teachers in her video saying,
"My name is Marama. I came to Develop Africa Sierra Leone Computer Lab knowing nothing about computers. Now I can go out there and type on a computer. I can use the computer. I can make invitation cards and more. The teachers gave me a lot of encouragement. They made me love the course. Thank you!"
Computer training for young women in Sierra Leone is more than just acquiring technical skills; it serves as a powerful tool for empowerment. It cultivates a generation of confident, skilled, and visionary leaders whose positive influence ripples through personal growth and contributes to the broader socio-economic development of Sierra Leone.
