Jamaica staff, students and parents give back!

Character development is an important part of the Christel House Jamaica model. Setting a strong example is a key way to demonstrate character. Christel House Jamaica staff, students, and parents volunteered together, giving back to their community. Getting involved and helping others is part of what makes Christel House special. Labour Day is a national holiday in Jamaica. It's a day reserved for work projects to get involved and to give back to the community. The Christel House team cleaned and painted at a nearby neighborhood school. Five-year-old children from this basic school move on to attend Christel House Jamaica. Another team volunteered work at the Christel House Jamaica farm and garden. Having the students and parents involved with the projects made the day more special.
